 Adam Levine's band Maroon 5 and Christina Aguilera finally unveiled the video for their hit "Moves Like Jagger," some two months after they first performed it on "The Voice."
And although there was rumor that the man himself, Mick Jagger, was going to make a cameo, it's not exactly the case.
The video starts out with an old black-and-white clip of the baby-faced singer giving an interview, and then it cuts to modern-day as a bevy of models wearing Jagger-esque wigs and costumes dance around the set just like the iconic Rolling Stones frontman.
Even Levine gets in on the imitation as he writhes around shirtless in front of a huge Union Jack flag.
Aguilera doesn't make her appearance until after the three-minute mark, just as she does on the song.
Dressed in a floppy hat and Twiggy-esque eyelashes, she looks more like a Rolling Stones muse.
Levine and Aguilera come together at the end of the song as confetti rains down on them, although the way the camera keeps cutting back and forth, it looks as if the two didn't actually film their scenes together -- adding fuel to the speculation the "Voice" coaches don't really get along. |
