The song shows no sign of weakening, as it gains strength in both radio play and sales, according to Billboard.com.
However, it may soon face challenges from two rapid movers: “Sexy and I Know It,” LMFAO’s follow up the song of the summer, former chart topper “Party Rock Anthem,” surges 25-10, while Rihanna’s “We Found Love,” featuring Calvin Harris bullets onto the chart at No. 16. | 'Jagger' stays atop U.S. record chart - Sep 29, 2011 | Maroon 5's "Moves Like Jagger" featuring Christina Aguilera is No. 1 on the U.S. record chart for a fourth week, Billboard.com reported Thursday.
Coming in at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 is "Someone Like You" by Adele, followed by Foster the People's "Pumped Up Kicks" at No. 3, LMFAO's "Party Rock Anthem" at No. 4 and Gym Class Heroes' "Stereo Hearts" featuring Adam Levine at No. 5.
Rounding out the top tier are Bad Meets Evil's "Lighters" featuring Bruno Mars at No. 6, Rihanna's "Cheers (Drink to That)" at No. 7, Lady ... |

| 'The first time I heard the song, I loved it,' she tells MTV News - Sep 29, 2011 |  Back in July, on the set of the "Moves Like Jagger" video, Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine made a compelling argument for the song to be crowned the Song of Summer, stating, rather matter-of-factly, "There's not even any other songs being released this summer."
Turns out he was wrong. Not only were there other songs released during summer 2011 (we checked), but, as it turns out, "Jagger" may end up being the Song of Fall too.
