Lots of goodies in your weekly forum update! - 08:50PM EST - century
Hey everybody, I’m back with some more forum news for you.

And we have a lot of new things coming in this week, but I’ll start with the biggest news of all: It appears Christina is as good as set to land her first major film role. I wrote about the movie “Burlesque” in one of my earlier updates, and according to trusted film-website Variety, she’s onboard. You can read the published story at the bottom of my post, in one of the CNS links, or naturally, click here to discuss it in our thread.
Another Christina-update for you, once again from our trusted Xtina lounge is that DJ Premier, Christina’s hitmaker from her "Back 2 Basics" album has been confirmed as a producer, and not only that but in a sound clip he has confirmed the album will be out in September, with a first single mostlikely in July. You can read all the info we have right here, brought to you by our very own Xtina lounge moderator, Rod the Mod.

Now further to picture lounge, were there’s a bunch of stuff waiting for you as well: Christina and Jordan were spotted at the Sunset Tower Hotel, sporting a lovely look. Feel free to also check out the People magazine spread Holly posted for us, of proud mommy Christina and an adorable Max. Never a dull moment: Your weekly update. - 09:59PM EST - century
Hey again CMM’ers, I’m back once more with your forum news.

And as always we’ll start in Xtina lounge, were one of the freshest threads, made for us by Merlito, informs us Christina made it to #14 on Maxim’s annual list of 100 hottest women. Definitely not too shabby, considering she finishes just right after fellow-mommy Jessica Alba. Talk about being in good company, I sure wouldn’t mind myself.
Next up for you in Xtina lounge, we take you to our official album thread again, kept up to date by our hardworking mod, Rodrigues. And we have one more producer to add to the growing list: Claude Kelly. The little info I can give you on him is that he’s worked with the likes of Kelly Clarkson, Britney Spears and Leona Lewis. And, that he’s hugely addicted to Twitter, which has really become our biggest source of album-news lately. I can’t wait until Max learns how to work that Blackberry.

From twitters to pictures now, as we move towards picture lounge for some new images that were posted there of Christina’s Sante D’Orazio photo-shoot she once did for Elle UK a few years back. The pictures are old, but still immensely gorgeous, so feel free to check out the latest additions that have surfaced, they’re absolutely worth watching.
And after you’re done with those, you can check out some things in Celebrity lounge, such as this thread listing Kylie Minogue’s tour dates for her very first North-American tour! It’s been a long wait, but the Aussie-songstress is finally bringing her spectacle to Canadians and Americans, so if you’re a fan you know where to go. And in closing, if you like music and puzzling, check out the first round of our Chill musical contest I spoke about earlier, and try and crack the code. Going by the many reactions, it’s certainly keeping our contestants’ brains occupied.

Because reading is good for you: Your weekly forum update! - 10:27PM EST - century
Hello once more everybody, me again with your weekly dose of forum happenings.

And first off, we pick up again with the story of Christina’s as-good-as-sealed deal to star in her first major movie “Burlesque”. Because an interesting story that just got posted informs us of another songstress who is possibly joining the movie’s cast, and it’s none other than Cher herself. Seeing Cher already has an Oscar signed to her name, she’s already proven to be talented both in movie and song, so a possible pairing of the two would seem interesting. Let’s only hope she will not be playing the role of a stripper, after all, she is 63 years old by now. (Happy bday Cher!)
Up further in Xtina lounge, I’d like to invite you to a very spirited debate we’re having there as to what exactly Christina says at the end of “What a Girl wants”. Plenty of suggestions have been made already, including “I do the rhyme thing” from some odd-ball named century, hmm. Other song-mysteries got mentioned there as well, such as the ‘hospitality bracelet’ chatter in “Make Over” and the chit-chat between her and Alicia Keys on “Impossible”. Feel free to weigh in with your take on it.

Moving on to Picture lounge now, we have some more for the visually-stimulated readers of this update: Christina, along with her sister Rachel, Jordan and baby Max were spotted at the Houston’s restaurant in Santa Monica, and a few days earlier the Bratman-family was also present at a birthday party, were Max showed off his new L.A.M.B. kicks, from Gwen Stefani’s clothing line. To make the picture complete, little Max also had his Blues Brothers’ shades on for added coolness.
And for my last bit of news in this slow-Christina week we go to World News Lounge, for what I think is our very first visit there. But one of our members, Ola, just posted a very interesting story about the popular cola soft drink there, namely that you could lose muscular strength if you drink too much of it. Now, in case you’re a sweet-tooth, don’t despair, because ‘too much’ in this case would amount to 10 liters of the sugary stuff, and that is per day. So they key-word here is moderation kids, less is more as they say. Unless of course we’re talking about news regarding Christina’s next album.

Hello CMM’ers, I’m here again to give you your weekly update.

And as always we head to Xtina lounge first, where we have yet another producer that could quite possibly be added to the already sizable list: Focus was Dr. Dre’s protégé for a very long time, and in a posted article it’s rumored that he’s working with our girl as well. In the past Focus has produced songs for J.Lo, Beyonce and The Game. So far Christina seems to be very productive in enlisting producers, because with this rumored collab the count is up to 8.
Another thread floating around in our forum also picked up my attention this week, as it discusses a Stephen Webster event in Club TAO in Las Vegas, which Christina will be attending this coming Friday. So expect lots of pictures of what I’m sure will be another stunning Christina, keep your eyes peeled. Or, if you live close by, you can go yourself, because admission only costs 20 dollars. Quite the hefty price for any ‘normal’ club, but if Christina’s in there… Just don’t waste it all at the slot machines before you get there!

Moving on now to picture lounge, we’ve got some nice photos for you as well: One of our members posted a bigger pic of Christina’s Fortune Magazine September appearance in that mag, and for your viewing pleasure I’ve also added a few photo’s of Christina and Jordan’s shopping trip in Hollywood. No idea what they bought, but the French saying on her shirt mentions “I regret nothing”. I sure hope Jordan’s wallet feels the same way.
     
And for something else now, I’d like to point out to you non-forum frequenters out there that our forum recently has been upgraded with a brand new and very floral lay-out called “Garden of Eden”. Courtesy of Jaz for creating it, and kakei for supplying the accompanying banner’s design. So if you got some time, take a visit to the forum and maybe also vote in our thread about how you like this new addition to our lay-out library.
