How do I donate a prize?
If you have something you'd like to donate as a prize, please contact a CMM manager via PM or the Contact Center (the managers of the Contest Emporium/Prize Bin are WickidKitten and AwesomeGenie, but you may contact ANY manager at CMM). The manager will then place the item up to be won, on your behalf. *ALL OTHER PORTIONS OF THE TRANSACTION WILL BE YOUR RESPONSIBILITY.* You must be willing to go through the process of mailing the prize to anyone that may decide that they want your prize. You are DONATING it. That also means that you are willing to pay the shipping for the item, to WHEREVER the winner is from.
What is so special about the prizes listed on the main page?
The prizes listed on the main page are the 5 most recently added prizes, they're not the special ones. All prizes here are special
What is the "testimonial" part?
Once someone has completely finished a transaction, we'd like you to write a few sentences about your experience... maybe saying how cool your prize was; or how quick the shipment was. We just want people to know that we are "for real"... and that people actually GET the prizes!
Where do these prizes come from?
Prizes you see here have been donated out of the kindness of the hearts of various CMM members. Please try to remember that when participating.

Sorry, but no. Prize tokens expire 30 days from their issue date.
But what if I just don't WANT anything offered? Does that mean I have to get something I don't want, or get nothing?
The option of CMM Membership points will always be there, as an alternative to getting a prize. If you do not see anything you'd want, I would suggest you chose points, so as to not waste your token!
Do I need to pay for the shipping of my prize?
No, the shipping will be taken care of by the person who donated the prize, unless specified otherwise.
How do I add my testimonial?
When you have received your prize, and everything is over, you go in and change the status of your prize to "received". Just go to "Prize Profile", and click on the transaction you are completed... this will all lead you to the testimonial box. You will have a choice of whether or not to have your location shown with your testimonial. The most recent testimonials will be displayed on the main page.
How do I enter these contests?
To enter the contests, you must have been a member of ChristinaMultimedia for at least two weeks. Once you are, you can go over to the Contest Emporium and see what contest are open at the time, and enter them!
How do I get to win these prizes?
When you win a contest over at the Contest Emporium, you will be awarded a prize token to redeem a prize of your choice. There will also be other ways to win prize tokens, as mentioned on the site.
How do I know my "redemption" went through OK?
Whenever you redeem tokens, there will be an automated email sent to you.
How do the tokens work?
For every contest you win, you receive 1 token. There are 3 types of tokens: Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3. The type of token you win will be pre-determined by the contest you won. For example, if you won a Level 1 contest, you will receive a Level 1 token.
I am not a Christina Multimedia member... can I still look through the prizes?
Sure! You just can't interact with the site... but feel free to browse through! If you like what you see, you can join CMM at ChristinaMultimedia.com!
I won a contest, but don't see anything I REALLY want! Can I save my token in case something better is listed later?
You will have 1 month to redeem your token, from the day you are issued it. If you fail to redeem your token within the month, the token will become null and void. You don't want to miss out on getting a prize!
I won a Level 1 contest, but i want a Level 3 prize!
Sorry, Level 1 tokens (which you would receive for winning a Level 1 contest) are only good for Level 1 prizes. As well, they can be used in the new Prize Level, Level 0 (for non-Christina prizes)
I won a prize, and redeemed it, but I can't see it anymore on the prize listings!
If you no longer see a prize that you won on the lists, that must mean that you "redeemed" the last one (or only one) that was available. You can still, however, view that prize under your "Prize Profile". Just click on the transaction, and then click on the prize number to view what you won.
I won, and want to redeem my token... but the option (or the Prize Profile) is not there??
To make any type of transaction on the Prize Bin, you must be first logged into your CMM account.
If I donate a prize, do I get anything in return??
Donating prizes will give you 5 (Level 1 or Level 0),10 (Level 2), or 15 (Level 3) CMM membership points automatically (just for the initial donation). Then, when your prize is "redeemed", you will receive 15 points for shipping, and 5 points for every dollar that the prize is worth AFTER THE WINNER HAS RECEIVED THEIR PRIZE. *If you do not follow through with you donation, you will not only loose the points you gained, but also double the amount of your initial points (the 5-10-15) will be taken away*
Is this SAFE? What if i do not want my address given out??
Just like everything you do online, safety cannot be GUARANTEED... BUT here at CMM we work very hard to make everything as secure as we can. If you win a prize, and redeem a token, you MUST "sign" the disclaimer before you put your shipping information into the form. *YOUR ADDRESS WILL NEVER BE SEEN BY ANYONE EXCEPT FOR THE PERSON THAT IS MAILING THE PRIZE! NOT EVEN THE CMM MANAGEMENT CAN SEE IT!* If you feel uncomfortable giving out your mailing address, your only alternative is to redeem ChristinaMultimedia Memembership Points which will not require any personal information. You may also decide to choose your prize according to the sender (i.e. redeem a prize from someone you feel that you can completely trust).
It has been a while... and I haven't seen my redeemed prize's status go to "shipped" yet! What should I do?
If you have not heard anything from the sender of your prize, and do not see the status of your prize change to "shipped" within 2 weeks, please contact a CMM manager, so the problem can be resolved.

If you ever seen anything listed as a prize that is offensive, or seems "unreal", please let a manager of CMM know, and we will look into the problem.
What about my full name? Do I need to give that?
Nope! As long as your address is correct, your username should be enough to get the package to where it is going. *Please note: if you live somewhere, like an apartment complex, and your name IS important to get your mail, PLEASE GIVE IT. We don't want anyone not to receive their prize! Even just your FIRST name should be good enough.
What are "tokens"?
Tokens are the currency here at the Prize Bin. When you win contests, you will receive tokens.
What do the different levels mean?
There are now 3 levels of contests, with 4 levels of prizes. Level 1 contests will be the easiest... thus, Level 1 prizes will be the cheapest/smallest of the prizes. And it proceeds with Level 2 contests being of moderate difficulty, and Level 3 being the hardest/most important; and Level 2 prizes being medium priced/rarity, and the Level 3 prizes will be the biggest/best/most rare. The newly added Level 0 prizes will be able to be redeemed by any of the 3 level tokens (1, 2, or 3). This new level will feature prizes that are not Christina-related.
What do you mean by "stages" of a transaction?
There are 6 different stages of a transaction: pending (you have redeemed a prize but the sender has not shipped it yet), shipped (when the sender has shipped the prize and is awaiting confirmation from the receiver), received (the prize has been received by the winner), unreceived (the prize was never received by the winner), resolved (the prize wasn't received, but the problem was resolved by the management), and canceled (the transaction was canceled during the pending stage due to the sender being unable to ship out the prize).
What do you mean by UNRECEIVED??!!!
Seeing that this site is run by people all over the world, when we are accepting "donations", we are kind of relying on good faith that the person will follow through. There is always the possibility of someone never getting their prize (hopefully, this will never occur). Also, some prizes could possibly get lost in the mail. Anyway, if a prize is not received after 2 months of redeeming your token, the winner can file an "unreceived" claim, which will in turn be taken care of by the CMM management team. In most cases, CMM membership points will be the replacement prize.
What if I win a Level 3 contest, but want a prize from Level 0, 1 or 2?
You're in luck! The way the prize tokens work is as follows:
If you win a Level 1 contest, you can only pick from Level 1 or Level 0 prizes. However, if you win a Level 2 contest, you may pick from Level 2, Level 1, OR Level 0 prizes! The same goes for Level 3 prizes; winning a level 3 token will allow you to pick a prize from ANY of the 4 prize levels! We realize that some people don't care much for the levels of prizes because they might just like something that costs less instead, simply because they like it more!
What is the "Prize Profile"?
Prize Profile is a place for you to go to see all of your transactions at the Prize Bin. You can see any tokens you've been issued, and the "stage" that the transactions are in. Also, you can see any transactions you may have if you are OFFERING any prizes!
Why don't you have THIS as a prize?
If there is something you'd like to see as a prize, feel free to also go to the Contest Lounge at CMM Forums and post it in the "prize suggestion" thread. You never know what might come up! And we don't really know what you are LOOKING for!
