How can I submit a clip of myself to Showcase?
Submissions are to be sent to showcase@christinamultimedia.com with the subject titled "Showcase Submission." Please include your name, CMM username, the e-mail address you would like people to send comments to, and a message that you would like to be posted for people to read before they download your clips (limit of 100 words per song). Your age, location, and personal webpage (if you have one) would also be helpful in giving listeners a better description of yourself (but they are not mandatory).

What is the Showcase site about?
Showcase is a site for Christina fans to submit clips of themselves singing songs for the public to hear. If you are someone who wants to get their voice heard by many Christina fans, this is the site for you. All you have to do is send us a clip of yourself singing a Christina song and we will post it on this site for other fans to download.

Who can submit? Why should I?
Anyone is welcomed to submit a showcase of his/her talent, with the understanding that other people will be able to hear it. If you would like to share a clip of your singing a Christina song, we are happy to give you the chance! If you love to sing this is a great opportunity to show it.
Remember:
When you submit a file you are giving us the understanding that the piece of work is yours.

Is there a limit to the number of files I can submit?
Each person may submit up to a maximum of 5 files to be posted (unless you can come up with a good reason why this should not be so).

To give you my e-mail address is optional, how do I know whether or not I should give mine?
The e-mail field is completely optional, therefore the choice is up to you. Submitting your e-mail address will allow it to be displayed next to your showcase file. That gives the listeners the freedom to e-mail you comments regarding your song(s). What someone may write to you is beyond our control, but we put trust in our visitors that they will remain mature in their compliments and/or criticism. If you feel that you can handle that, then posting your e-mail address is probably fine. If you would rather not have your e-mail address posted, though, that's fine as well.
Remember: We are NOT responsible for the remarks that may be e-mailed to you if you choose to have it posted. It is your decision.

How long do I have to wait for my submission to be posted on this site?
Please be advised that updates at Showcase occur once a month, so it may no more than four weeks for your recording to be available on this site. If there happen to be any difficulties upon the manager receiving your submission, it may take longer.

How can I sing a song that you don't have the karaoke file of?
This is a matter of creativity and there is no right answer. If you can, or know of anyone who can, play the instrumental section of the song -- and if you find that it suits the song -- go for it! Otherwise, you can just record yourself with the Christina song playing softly in the background .. or sing it acappella!

How do I record myself singing?
For instructions on how to record your voice, please refer to the CMM Workshop #2 Guide HERE. This workshop was held in March 2004 and this guide summarizes the topics that were discussed there - such as how to record yourself singing and even how to sing properly.
