'Everybody seems to love those; they're from Abercrombie and Fitch, that's who makes them, and you actually don't get to see the coolest part which is on my lower left pant leg by my calf, there's this huge dragon which is so cool. But you all seem to still like them, so it's kind of cool.'

'If I was having a bad day, or if something was really getting me down - boy troubles, whatever - I wanted to get a new piercing. It was definitely a release for me. Something that made me feel a little more strong or empowered. Because it was something that had to do with me and no one else.'

'I'm not conservative.'

'I don't know, trends start all the time! I really love 'chaps' though and it was a lot of fun to try and reinvent a new way to wear pants, with just some little briefs underneath! That's a fun outfit, and it's definitely something I want to continue doing, trying different styles and versions of them on my tour. So who knows what might happen?'

'Daring. I like to stir things up. What they love is ball gowns. Come on! I'm not going out in some damn ball gown. I want to be my age.'

'I really like mens Calvin Klein underwear. I wear them all the time with low, hip-hop pants and a little tank T-shirt. Its sexy to show the label with low cut pants.'

I wear a lot of long, side-slit skirts with cute tummy tops and funky shoes.'

'I love Stila Moonlight eye shadow - it's kind of a white frosty thing. I use regular eyeliner - Revlon color stay - and Max Factor mascara.'

'I really don't like to pay too much attention to my lips unless Im performing or something. I wear hard Candy in Blur (a light pink gloss), a lot of MAC, and Chanel lip glosses.'

'I like dots or stripes right down the middle of my nails.'

'I've been using the same thing for my face since I was 12: I'm a total Noxema girl.'

'If I were home alone right now, I'd be wearing a white tank top and guys' briefs. There's a line of underwear called Skimpies. They're my favorite things.'

'I was actually disappointed this year because I wasn't on the People magazine 'Worst-Dressed' list. I mean what is the world coming to? In fact I'm a little angry about it. Why wasn't I on it? Is it because now I'm a Versace poster girl they don't put me on it? That's not fair. The fashion world is a bunch of nonsense anyway. I love Bjork because she's outlandish and crazy and interesting to watch. But the interesting ones are always on the worst-dressed list and if that's what it takes then that's the list I'd rather be on.'

'I think that when anyone is criticized, for anything, it hurts them, like it does me. After all, I'm only human! But I just try and ignore that stuff. Anyway, I'm very comfortable with what I wear and I love being different. I hate having to 'conform' to what society, or the majority of people want. I take strength from Madonna, one of my favorites, who had to go through people criticizing what she wore all her life. So, it's like; 'OK, if she could do it, so can I!' '

'My stylist Trish Somerville, and I came up with the idea of wearing chaps for the Dirrty video. It was going to be a one-off, but they kind of took off. Yeah, there was such controversy surrounding them. But if you look at the amount of flesh that is shown when you wear booty shorts or miniskirts that other people - very well-known females - wear in their videos, the chaps actually cover more skin. Yeah, but it's so funny to me.'

'I'd just been blonde for a really long time and I'd done everything I possibly could with blonde hair, from different shades to cornrows. I need a change in my life all the time - I love to experiment - and black hair's always intigued me. It's mysterious and it brings out my Latin side.'

'I like being different. I have never followed the pack, and I'm not going to change now because in some magazine I made the list as - what was it? - one of the skunk-haired celebrities. Oh, But I was the 'funkiest skunk of all.' '

'Who cares what we wore to a damn awards show? It's the VMAs. I was happy with my outfit, and I'd wear it again.'

'I think it's just funny, I don't wear long floral skirts down to my ankles. This is just me, I guess.'

'I agreed to be part of Skechers' Footwear international marketing team because I like its image - youthful but edgy. It has attitude and is willing to try new ideas - refreshing,'

'I think everybody should have a great Wonderbra. There's so many ways to enhance them, everybody does it.'

'I don't think my outfits are that wild and it certainly doesn't turn off guys. I definitely don't have any problems where that is concerned.'

'If I’m on the 'Best-Dressed' list I’m disappointed as it must mean I’ve become more conservative! I get bored easily and want to try new things. I’m an adventurous spirit and I need to push boundaries and limitations.'

'I do like to dress a little edgier, less conservative, whatever, and I just remember one day showing up at a photo shoot and there was a clothing rack in front of me full of all kinds of floral and laces and just very 'pretty' clothes. And I just cringed. And I was like, 'This is VERY not what I want to be!' It's not me!'

'Ok, did they say I am the worst dressed? All I have to say is that I've seen those magazines before, and I've seen some of the things they've picked for best dressed, and it's the most boring, un-experimental thing out there. It's very conservative, and that's not what I am.'
